Why I started..

I have always had ambitions outside of my 9-5 and have had a few ideas over the years on what else I could do. I feel the most fulfilled when I have a project or goal in mind; in general life and in business. The pressure fuels me to do better than before, I’m a busy body. I started this business as I wanted somewhere to buy clothes and accessories with slogans I love and would wear. After many hours of research and pages of notes written on my phone, I made my website. I had been thinking about it long enough and I had to at least try.

I have learnt a lot through my own life experiences that I want to share and help others find what they need. Even though this may be small through a few words written online and slogans on clothes, captions on social media post and the odd blog here and there; every bit helps.

I started with a few designs and write down a few words in my first blog posts. I find I have waves of creativity which manly are around the slogans but writing blogs is another part of the business I want to continue to work on. I tend to only be able to write when the moment takes me so don’t expect me to be churning out blogs in any calculated pattern.

I am enjoying refining my thoughts into slogans and working on my business. It’s hard not to try and do everything at once but I’m learning more each day.

In the long run I want to expand further than clothes and grow this into a platform that can give back, but that is all still within the many ideas in my head forming into plans. I’m not sure how I can give back yet but I am always the first to offer help so maybe that is the starting point.

Overall, I want to be able to look after my parents into their old age and the best way I know how, is to be myself and do what I do best. I’m still trying to figure it all out but hopefully through the little bit I do it can help others as well. A lot can come through the simplest things.

With the world being even more strange than usual, there is no better time than now. If there is something you want to get started with, start, you will never know if you don’t try.
